BOLLYWOOD NIGHT - 2009
Long time ago, it was the intention of ZAWA to host a Bollywood Night. This would consist of people dancing to Bollywood music and make a spectacle of themselves in more than one way.
On 18 April 2009, this dream came true. A night of Bollywood music and dance was organised by two of the young ZAWA members. Delara Mistry & Zeelnaz Parabia took it upon themselves to organise and execute this dynamic event. They would plan everything from the venue to the last and smallest detail. They would report to Anahita Fitter, a ZAWA committee member.
Well, as it turned out to be, the night became a tremendous success. The event was held at Yangebup Community Hall. There were games for the kids, as well as best-dressed comnpetition for adults. Everybody had a great time.
