JAMSHEDI NAVROZE DINNER & DANCE GALA - 2009
In ancient times, King Jamshed of Iran decreed that the first day of spring, or the Vernal Equinox, be a day of festivities and merriment. Being good Zoroastrians, we did not want to go against that Royal decree.
So a night of dinner and dance was held at the Australian Asian Associations Hall in Perth City. Apollo provided the music for the evening and a variety of food items were available. Children played games like Musical Chairs, Musical Statues and Passing the Parcel
Here then are some photos and a couple of movies from that memorable evening.
